Pros
Job security, friendly staff, people dont worry about work and have good work life balance. I would say that the company culture is good in terms of employee friendliness but it is better at middle management than at bottom of heirarchy.
Cons
highly regulated sector, organograms keep getting changed, visibility only 6 months for any role. HR department is weak and has less power to do any changes or improvements. Very low salary
