Pros

Work on blockbuster CG movies. Be part of the CG & film industry, with all the recognition and perks that offers. See your name in the credits of feature films. Work with some very skilled, creative people. Free lunch every work day.

Cons

Very little room for career advancement, depending on your group. Ability to have creative input can be surprisingly limited sometimes. You may have to work on a show you're not particularly fond of. Dreamworks does little to encourage employee-driven projects like shorts anymore. Occasionally, between shows, Dreamworks sometimes has "gap-time" where people unfortunately can get laid-off (although this is less frequent now).
