Pros
The culture at ELMO is genuinely impressive - people here will bend over backwards to help each other succeed. There's been a significant positive shift in breaking down departmental silos, with clear accountability now being a priority across the organisation. The talent upgrade has been substantial and unilateral across the business. While some long-timers may reminisce about the old "country club" days, the reality is that ELMO has undergone a necessary transformation under PE ownership. This has brought in high-calibre professionals who are driving real change. Many existing employees have risen to meet these new standards and are thriving. Technically, we've made substantial progress in the past few years. The product roadmap is exciting, and we have the right mix of tools, processes, and people to execute on our vision. The future looks bright for ELMO's product suite.
Cons
There's still some technical debt to address - as with everywhere but we're aiming high. The cultural shift has been jarring for some. You'll notice wildly differing opinions on Glassdoor, often from disgruntled former employees. There's a palpable sense of loss among those who preferred the more relaxed, pre-PE environment.
