Pros

Relatively flexible hours: Management does not care what you do as long as you meet the deadlines and continuously making money Opportunity to polish your resume: The company seems incapable of hiring and retaining good qualified employees which results in hiring non-qualified/low-level people for advanced tasks. If you are looking for opportunity to add experience that no other company would give you, then EXP is for you. However, note the work quality would be bad or medicor at best.

Cons

A workaholic company that does not strive nor care about life-work balance Employees are given tasks without sufficient support nor proper training. Management expects their employees to carryout impossible missions on regular biases Technical expertise of the staff is bad. If you have a difficult or a non-common problem, good luck finding a reliable person to help. Hard working people are not appreciated. On the contrary, they are being dumped on. The company’s culture is to make money on the expense of its employees. To maintain budget, employees are expected to work long hours and for free. For an engineer, expect to give away about 10k/yr worth of "free work" Employee retention is very low. People quit basically on monthly basis. Employees with more than 3yrs in the company is uncommon. Their bonus is a joke. If you are not upper management, then do not expect to break even considering the free work you put.

Pros

The position offered a hybrid work model. I was able to comfortably approach any colleague with inquiries. The workload was appropriately managed.

Cons

I was frequently transitioning between various projects, which occasionally led to a loss of clarity regarding my progress on each individual initiative.

Pros

Direct managers within the office are nice people. Colleagues are also nice. Opportunity for career growth if you stick around long enough. Some interesting projects.

Cons

*USA offices * Decision-makers at the top of the chain get to have the benefits of remote work (employees remotely work-sharing across offices) but do not allow employees to do the same (if you’re working with a completely remote team you must still come into the office). Despite having proven through the COVID-era that employees can successfully work remotely senior leadership is planning a full return to office 5 days/wk. Lousy healthcare benefits, below-avg compensation. Employees with less than 40 hrs/wk of project work are forced to create technical documents to justify charging to company time when the root cause is the firm not winning projects.
