First, thank you for being a part of our team, and for your review. All successful premise salespeople utilize their work time wisely. As you invest in the necessary prep work that must be done, having the flexibility to schedule your day is a necessity – and we’re glad you appreciate that. The satisfaction of knowing you are paid on time is a point of pride for us. Unlike most of our directory competitors who have gone through multiple bankruptcies and reorganizations, our employees have never had to deal with those troubling situations. Our strength of financial standing is due to the wonderful employees we have who are dedicated to doing their absolute best. This insures our advertisers benefit from their purchases in our print and digital products. So go ahead and give yourself a pat on the back but make sure you tell your nearest coworker “Thank You” as well. In regards to your “cons” - we do utilize paper contracts and currently find it the most advantageous system for the majority of our organization. It’s nice to be able to leave a hard copy with a customer who contracts for our services. Even in Central Pennsylvania (where you say you are located), there are still local business owners that appreciate the hard copy of a contract as opposed to an email. We've always approached technology with an excitement but still with careful attention to make sure we do things right the first time. Hence, while you may still be using paper contracts, it’s quite possible you’ll have the opportunity to utilize digital contracts as well in the near future. I trust you decide to stay with us, so that you can enjoy that availability. Being the independent publisher in North America that other companies seek to pay for our digital properties, would most definitely group our company with those on the digital forefront, and not behind as you suggest. Our salespeople are successful and have tenure because they are trained to put the needs of the business in the forefront of the sales call. Our needs based approach keeps us from straying on providing print products that most certainly deliver strong results. In fact, when you look at our most recent metered call logs you’ll notice how great a volume of prospective business we are generating for our local customers. Our larger print size and delivery via the US Postal system also insure the best print product in the market. If you feel as if you’re lagging behind in knowledge and understanding of how to implement the different sales tools provided for prepping your appointments, please see your local manager for clarification and help. The Google certified training of our IT department has helped to grow our digital properties dramatically in recent years. Pros

Management lets you run your own show for the most part.

Cons

Yellow pages is a dying industry. Hard to convince younger business owners to buy yellow page ads even though great readership by older people. Old habits die hard. People payed at different rates. Some paid higher amounts and not contributing as much as others at a lower pay rate. Not payed enough for effort that has to be put forth to acquire new customers and keep regular customers.
