Pros

•The customers are awesome, so are the employees. •You get membership to Equinox. •Temp job only, do not stay long, you WILL regret it. Keep looking for something better even after you're hired

Cons

•Cant call off when need to •HR Dept doesn't do anything and extremely biased •They break US laws •Management makes own rules instead of following EarthBar protocol •HR doesn't want you keeping documentation of incidents so as to not leave paper trail (ex: Email/ Text) but instead coerces you into verbally speaking to your manager. •I get verbally abused by management •Unprofessional overall •You email your complaints and you literally have to bug HR to get a response, if you even get a response. They're lazy

Pros

Employees are allowed to make and consume at least one item during their shift.

Cons

I was asked by management to take a COVID-19 test during my shift, in the back room (which I find to be highly unsanitary). Our store lead tested positive and I didn't. I was expected to run everything while our co-workers recovered which resulted in me being over-loaded with work. Management was not happy with this and I was rudely called into a meeting with the area manager and store lead. During our meeting, HR explained to our area manager and store lead that they should have been closed during that time instead of scheduling me to pick up the slack for everyone. They hoped to target me but in the end H/R had my back. I could not believe I was getting this level of treatment from not just the staff in our store but from gym management as well, especially since we were all the same skin color. We were also expected to do the work of a manager - barista's should not be emailing reports to the company like they expect us to on a daily basis. There was no team camaraderie - so many of us disagreed with the store lead's management style. Lack of security - many questionable individuals would enter the premises causing building management to eventually ban others. It doesn't make sense that one area of the building is secure yet the store entrence itself is highly unprotected.
