Great talent/poor management - Senior Engineer Enserca Engineering Employee Review

Enserca strives to develop people professionally. I have been able to grow as an employee and a leader since working here. The semi-annual training helps to give structure to the advanced learning that takes place.

Unfortunately, we tend to put things off and then have to rush to get something done. More up front planning needs to be done so that we are not always stuck in rush mode.

This was a company filled with smart, strong working employees. I enjoyed my interactions with almost everybody. People were helpful, and friendly. It was easy to get along with just about everybody.

The leadership, and by this I mean one person -- the president, was the single greatest flaw with the company. It is always regrettable when the person in charge of the show can't see the true value in their team and instead assumes they are the smartest person in the room. All too often this is the case. Enserca unfortunately was a victim of this too common problem.
