Pros

Bonuses and profit sharing make up for the low wages; nice people, but difficult to "fit in"; commendable community involvement.

Cons

Inadequate on-boarding; poor training; poor and barely-relevant continuous education; "cold" work culture; low wages. Some managers/supervisors need better supervisor training (some are promoted to supervisor simply because they've got an engineering degree).

Great small town company, locally owned and operated! More than just a number, truly feel like family!

Pros

Flexible working time, 1.5 rate overtime paid, most people are nice. Good work-life balance.

Cons

No sick leave. 5 days PTO for the 1st year and 10 days PTO for years after. That's all; no any other paid leave. 401k matching up to 4%, but only after 1 year working; need full 3 years working to take 100% of 401k matching : 1 year 33%; 2nd year 66%. Small company, so you need to do everything. Projects limited to land development. Work is not very challenging
