Pros

To be honest, it is hard to think of pros. Everything I thought was initially a pro when hired, quickly turned into a con.

Cons

Toxic work environment with an incredibly negative and unsupportive atmosphere. I still experience anxiety thinking about how I was treated by my manager who was incredibly unsupportive, provided little or no flexibility, did not clearly communicate with me, and did not treat my fairly or justly. I was even reprimanded for taking the day off before Thanksgiving, even though I had told my manager I was taking the day off, and my manager was already on vacation himself. Decisions were also made frequently with little or no communication or explanation.

Pros

Exciting and fast past work environment that has a lot to offer in terms of knowledge and advancement if you seek it out yourself. If you lack the ambition, you will be passed up but there is always room to grow and learn more. Even if it's outside your prospective scope there can still be an opportunity for you. Positions changed drastically while I was employed here.

Cons

There is a great lack of consistency and it is a family run company. This makes very tight groups that 'lead' others and often times push more qualified of more devoted people to the side. Recognition and communication are common points of failure and poor leadership is commonplace. It would be fair to say that you make your own place within FSTI and you have to really push to ensure that it happens and so long as you keep driving forward there will always be a place for you.
