Pros

At Farmigo, we have the opportunity to experience a true startup culture. Farmigo expanded into Seattle in September of 2015 : an entirely new crew of 11 people were brought on and formed a vibrant community of passionate self starters. The pros that I have experienced include: - The ability to experience many roles and guide one's learning - Flexible work schedule - The ability to build amazing relationships with coworkers - Awesome warehouse culture and supportive team moral - Operationally, Farmigo has implemented new, exciting goals and packaging - Flexible PTO - 30% discount on amazing, local food - Dental and medical benefits

Cons

- Salaries are not competitively based when compared to other startups in Seattle - Seattle can only offer work for hourly employees two days per week due to lack of demand - No 401K

Pros

The office at Farmigo feels more like a coffeehouse than a corporate environment. Makes it a nice place to work each day. Team members are always willing to hangout during the day and vent about their workloads. Employee discount on groceries is a huge plus.

Cons

One of the main concerns that I have about Farmigo is the transparency about the future of the business. We were told that we had raised another round of venture backing in June, but there hasn't been any press or media coverage to confirm this. Usually when startups raise another round, they want people to know so as to prove that the company is on the right track. We are also expanding into a new market with Seattle before we have mastered how we do what we do in New York and Berkeley. The other issue with Farmigo is the pay is pretty lousy. Normally this expected at a startup, but we aren't even offered performance related bonuses. It feels like Farmigo wants you to burnout and will then replace you.
