Pros
On the whole, the people you get to work with are very smart and if you're plugged into the org correctly you can find some of the best minds who are pushing the envelope constantly for how Search can be applied to solve the problem of relevant information discovery. Going to Oslo in the summer is great as well.
Cons
Surprisinlgy for a Search technology company, it is difficult to get access to information and with that people play their cards close to their chests and seems to be too much internal vs. external focus. Engineering often hides behind the Agile process for not having rigour within the development process.
