Pros

Is a great entry level place to work for young kids, you would learn about the reseller industry, to gain expierance for a real job, but then have an awaking when you move on to a true value added reseller.

Cons

No respect for employees they hire of senior level with years & a wealth of expierance. No human resources department so the violations are abundant; sexiest remarks are made toward females by executive management who in addition thinks it's okay to call female employees "honey" & "kiddo". They speak of change & wanting to have build a services practice, but have no focus on practice areas or OEM partners, lie to OEM partners about their sales force. They do not have the infrastructure or processes in place to support veteran outside sales reps & if they did demand that you are in the office 8:30 - 5:30, so not sure how you are to sell or market to customers when every meeting you take has to be approved. They do not like strong, independent thinkers that bring new ideas; all they want are yes men who will do as they are told, even when it's clear that management does not know what they are doing. There is no culture or values, they claim they don't do marketing because they don't want to use MDF from OEMs so they can be truly vendor agnostic; that they want something authentic. However, you give them ideas of ways to create good publicity that would also help to create a corporate culture of giving back to the community & they don't want to fund those activities which are pennies on the dollar in terms of overall operating costs. Pay is not equal to industry standards & seems to be significantly less for female employees. Benefits are okay, if you are ever allowed time off to go to the doctor without having to disclose your life story for approval. Because of no HR department no formal PTO accural, which results in feelings of guilt when you need to take off, so you are always connected never truly off. No telework policy, however have implemented VDI, but no laptop given with client so that you are able to work remotely if needed. YET expectation is you WILL download the client on your personal (non company issued) computer & after putting in 9 hours as required at the office, if there's work that needs to be done you will log in from home & spend whatever hours are needed to get the job done, with no comp time given.

Pros

Love interacting with the customers and manufacture reps.

Cons

If you are an innovative, successful salesperson, this would not be a place that would enable you to flourish. Ownership is very set in their ways, and they pick and choose what opportunities they are willing to put themselves at risk to pursue. They have walked away from multi-million dollar deals because it does not fit within their particular mold. They expect to gain everything yet risk nothing. In addition, a currently employed high ranking executive asks inappropriate questions during interviews and divulges co-workers personal matters with others. No set vacation, sick or PTO hours and current executive expects full disclosure of personal matters to obtain permission to take time off and be wary that information will then be used against you and broadcast across the company. Work schedule is not flexible. Good, experienced people are hired and then let go because they don't conform to their mold. Average employee tenure is less than a year!
