Pros
Historically, the travel, the incentive and the autonomy to operate as an asset to the company. The people and the properties are terrific. Life on the road is like nothing else. It was a terrific opportunity for anyone looking to see new places, meet new people, watch incredible shows and create lifelong memories! I've got nothing bad to say about how great things used to be. Great career here, and without it I wouldn't be where I am now!
Cons
Unfortunately all this has changed. Four people in this company matter, period! If you don't own the company, your opinion, your well-being, your autonomy, your ability to create and follow through, all go out the window. If you are a leader, if you want to even consider taking the wheel, prep your resume. Free-thinking is highly promoted, and immediately dismissed once you engage. I loved what this company stood for and how it operated, but in an arbitrary effort for the new generation of ownership to make their mark, everyone else is shuffled to the back and given little to no consideration. Only short-term gains moving forward. Unless you're a Feld, or part of their inner circle, don't expect long-term progress and upward movement.
