Dynamic and rapidly growing company with good opportunities - Financial Engineer First Derivatives Employee Review

There are a lot of pros for this company - I feel that it has been massively put down in some of these reviews by current employees. Expenses: The expenses package is very generous. You get accommodation, food and travel paid for during your working week. Your flight and transfer costs are also absorbed by the company. Training: Training for the Capital Markets Programme is somewhat intense - you have workshop classes for your first few weeks to prepare you for the CMTP modules you have to complete over a two year course. There is also a focus on PRMIA examinations - this gives the candidate accreditation in Risk Management, which for young employees with little experience is an incredible boost. This is also paid for by the company. Social: The company is filled with well educated and sociable people. The company organizes get-togethers for staff to meet outside of the workplace. This could be dinner and drinks, paintballing, watching a match... Nearly anything. Opportunity: There are incredible opportunities for travel. You could be sent to Singapore, New York, London, Sydney... The potential is endless. And with the great expenses package this is very appealing. Management: There is a plethora of fantastic managers within the FD system. I have had little or no issue with them in my time here.
