Pros

Laid back..maybe a bit too laid back?

Cons

No longer exists. There was a scandal involving the CEO Mr. Kraft Jr. Constant financial trouble. In early 2016, MTI Connect was formed by some of the executives. No doubt some of this trouble has carried over t o MTI, they are still struggling and have closed down the Phoenix plant.

Pros

I was quite surprised to see several negative comments from previous employees at First Edge Solutions. My experience working here has been nothing but positive, with instruction from a knowledgeable and experienced upper management team, and working alongside a motivated sales team. With the wide variety of service lines available at First Edge, I feel that my knowledge of the industry has expanded into more areas than just print. I've personally learned a lot about our digital solutions including our work with print-on-demand, data management and pURL use.

Cons

Seeing as the Marketing Department is here at our headquarters in Milwaukee, a lot of my work is with the Phoenix and Atlanta plants. Since they're halfway across the continent, we must coordinate time schedules and meetings through phone calls or Skype. This isn't my ideal means of communication, and sometimes I feel that the conversations aren't as effective as they could be in person.

Pros

The people. FES's Struggles are no fault of the people who work there. They were flexible when it came to time off.

Cons

The CEO/Owner was all about image over substance. This is evident in the fact that he has ran two companies into the ground. He knew all the business buzz-words, which he was more than happy to spout-off at any moment, yet I don't know if he knew the meaning of the words he spoke. He got where he was with his Daddy's money.
