Pros
Great place to get your foot in the door of the golf industry. The families and regular patrons are quite nice, and it is fulfilling to watch the children grow and develop. The pay is pretty good especially for non-profit work, and ultimately the mission is incredible too. All employees receive free golf benefits, too.
Cons
You never really build any loyalty. You can work your hardest for years, but you will always be seen as a commodity, easily replaced. Regional management/administration is very disconnected for the day-to-day.
