Pros

If you apply for sitel and have a felony on your record be honest as they do hire felons and ex felons. I do know this for a fact as I have seen it.

Cons

The never explain any coaching that you may have received. They do not pay attention to the need of their employees. There is no further raises after 2 years unless you are promoted and to get promoted you have to kiss butt and the coach has to like you. The atmosphere is uncomfortable. The discriminate. I know they did me. You must be careful of what you say or else personal information will be blurted out. They coaches. and please not all coaches are the same. but coaches do not take the time to sit with you and show you were you went wrong so they can have you correct. I know in the starbucks campaign boy if starbucks only knew half the stuff they do to try to meet numbers and when starbucks comes to visit they tells what to say and not to say. I do hope one day I will be able to sit with an executive in which I have a email ready to go out. Oh sitel will not pay you all you are owed they will screw you out of whatever they can. The still owe me 28 hours. They fire you over the phone voicemail. I just have to say if you can avoid working for sitel. I would. they will have you going crazy.

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
