Pros

*The management team when I was there was awesome. They listened and tried their best to have a nice place to work for the people.

Cons

*Monetary compensation vs skills required to do the job. After the merge (Sykes + Sitel) this company started to care less about the people and more about the profit. In a sense that, Sitel used to have a nice treatment towards the employees. Then the new management started to cut bonus and benefits. At the same time, they started to demand more from the employees in terms of productivity and skills but paying less.

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
