There are tons of VPs in the business structure and they dont see the work finance does so they do not think the roles are needed at the opcos. They have been cutting down on the force for years now and its really hard to try and add headcount. You end up getting swamped in your work while the VPs continue to ask you to dig into the numbers when you dont have time for it because being short staffed.
