Substandard product & management in a toxic environment - Anonymous employee FrontStream Employee Review

The people, management, product and culture at Frontstream leave much to be desired. There are a few people in the office that have created a toxic work environment at FrontStream. Immature and egotistical personalities are allowed to run the show making the office more like high school than a professional environment. Management made no effort to make the environment less incendiary. Instead they seemed to pit employees against each other. Managers with no leadership or social skills were hired; Just because you know a product inside out doesn’t mean you know how to manage people. The products FrontStream offers are substandard and lacking in the functionality that their clients want and need. There are constant issues with their products and clients are not happy. Frontstream even released an upgraded product which was not ready. Of course this caused a lot of issues and most clients needed to be converted back to the older version. I’d never seen anything like it. Very irresponsible and kind of scary! As mentioned before, for a company that puts a lot of emphasis on its “culture”, they don’t take care of all of their employees. Working through your lunch hour and not taking breaks makes you a prized employee, As long as you’re at your desk, they think you’re working really hard. If the “popular kids” don’t like you, watch out! The FrontStream culture is tailored for those who suck up to an incompetent management team. My advice: Stay away! There are plenty of other tech companies with much better work environments who’ll pay you more!!!
