Pros

Pros: Projects were excellent resume builders and interesting due to government involvement. I had some good high profile jobs.

Cons

Cons: Salaries were well below average, i could go on and on I dont normally do this but my experience with this company was so bad that I felt everyone should know. I was with this company for a while. Long enough to figure out what was going on. The bottom line is that this company only exists because of its 8a status. They nitched into a market based on the governments requirement to provide 15% of its contracts to 8a companies. There is no organization or structure to this company. Their structure is literally defined in their slogan. It doesn't go any deeper than that. They do not build a team for a project rather simply provide a minimal amount of staff for each job. They do not estimate or plan jobs appropriately. Most times the estimating and planning came after NTP. They will bid any type of work rather than specializing in one area. They provide unqualified staff that do not meet contractual obligations then lie about skill levels on resumes required for government projects. Most of the time I worked there the staff provided did not fulfill contractual obligations. The only time they did was when the government forced them to provide the appropriate number and experience level. This was not fair to the client and put the employee in a position where they must defend the company's actions knowing full well that the lack of staff will require them to work much harder and longer hours. While working there I had some success but the more success I had the more work they gave me. This would have been ok if I was given the ability to provide an appropriate team for the work, or, more appropriately, they had our HR department provide the team for me. I was set up to fail in this job. I worked 70 hours a week for the last part of my career there. Needless to say, I left my position even in this economy. I also found out about several other employees that were put in the same position I was. They worked very hard against all odds to get the work done and create a positive perception for the company and were let go when they were unable to succeed. Multimillion dollar government projects were one completely by one person. This includes all the government regulations and paperwork requirements. I was literally told to "perform miracles" on several occasions. Bottom line is this company did serious damage to my reputation and will most likely do the same to yours. There is one individual working for this company that seems to be the center of all the problems. Durring my time it was evident not only to most of the employees but also many of the clients and associated companies that this individual causes many problems with this company. If you happen to get a job there you will learn who this individual is right away. THIS PLACE IS A NIGHTMARE!!!!

Pros

Good Jump Start for any career, also very flexible and positive work environment. Each team member gets treated equally with respect. CEO/President of the company greets everyone personally by visiting them every morning (literally he spends time with each employee and asks for their opinions). The leadership of this company is very helpful, and they are always available and willing to do whatever is needed to help you in your career and personal growth. If you want to get the most out of the job you have to strive, and grab the opportunity as their lot of room to shine.

Cons

Management is little laid back, just to provide comfort and support to their employees. Like anywhere else, when times get busy it can be little stressful but management picks up and does their best to boost morale.
