Pros

Some of the best coworkers I've ever had the pleasure of working with. The reason I stayed around for as long as I did is because I loved working with the people I worked with. The benefits are okay nothing horrible yet nothing amazing. Paid holidays Free meals sometimes

Cons

It's all office politics with GDR. At least at the Broadcom office. Unless you are in with the management team you are not going anywhere with this company. I can't tell you how many times I've seen people get away with something that others wouldn't just because they are friends with management. Turn over rate in IT is high and it's hard to keep the good ones do to substandard pay. Kick you to the curb attitude. If they don't like you for whatever reason, you are gone simple as that. Also don't try and speak up about anything or you will be asked to come into a meeting on a Friday with HR to be shown the door.

Thank you for your review. We believe this feedback may have been intended for a different company, as the location provided (Sweetwater, TN) does not align with our team structure. That said, we always welcome feedback and are committed to continuous improvement. If this was an error, we recommend reaching out to Glassdoor to have the review reassigned. If it was indeed meant for our organization, we’d be happy to connect offline to better understand your experience. We appreciate your time and wish you all the best.

Pros

HR needs significant improvement as their practices negatively impacted team performance and dynamics. Their lack of professionalism and unempathetic approach made collaboration difficult and created unnecessary challenges for employees. This was one of the most difficult HR teams I have ever worked with, as their shortcomings not only affected individual well-being but also disrupted overall team efficiency. The lack of effective support and fair policies hindered productivity and left employees feeling unsupported and undervalued. It's disappointing to see how much a poorly functioning HR department can harm an otherwise capable team

Cons

It’s disappointing to see how an uninspired and poorly managed HR department can diminish the overall work experience.
