I worked at GDR Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Incredible Knowledgebase system, if you can read, understand, and have the basic skills, you can accomplish darn near any task. Company does a heck of a lot for their clients.

    Cons

Management at times appears thin and this can lead to one feeling lost, until you're up on your feet.

I have been working at GDR Group full-time

    Pros

    - Most teams have strong members - Most employees are friendly and knowledgable

    Cons

    - Some employees do not seem to perform to expectations in their roles - Some employees constantly screw up and there are no actions taken against them or improvements - Some employees do not want to interact or work with those employees, makes for an unhealthy work environment.

    Disapproves of CEO

    I worked at GDR Group

    Pros

Paid well. Friendly HR. Should've been a great experience.

    Cons

It wasn't mentioned I would be a contractor at a third party in the interview process. My boss was also a contractor for GDR and played a lot of political games to go full time there. She was weird and backwards, and wasn't effective communicating. She'd fly into rages over things she'd structured and passed off that weren't received well, then blame it on everyone else. We were treated as inferior contractors by employees. Loved the work, hated the environment and GDR group.

I worked at GDR Group full-time

    Pros

Good for when you are starting out in the IT field.

    Cons

Sexist management, leads throw you under the bus to supervisors fo rfollowing their advise, denies time off for Doctor appointments, unprofessional supervisors who cuss at you out and yell at you, little to no training, confusing documentation, lack of communication with contracted customers, discrimination of people with certain health problems, failure to flirt with management will get you written up, low pay, don't make enough money to sue them for discrimination.

Former Employee - Logistics in Irvine, CA

I worked at GDR Group part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Much freedom to work at your own pace. This job was very low-stress. Many of my fellow co-workers were very cool and fun to work with.

    Cons

Some management needs more training in management skills. In my case, there was a little bit of a hazing problem when I first started. This continued on, especially to those who were foreign.
