I had a disappointing experience with the hiring process at [Company Name]. After completing the initial interview, I was told by the hiring manager that I had moved on to the second round and would be contacted shortly to schedule it. Unfortunately, that was the last I ever heard from them. Despite following up multiple times via email over the course of several weeks, I received no response—no update, no explanation, not even a generic rejection. It’s extremely unprofessional to tell candidates they’re moving forward and then ghost them entirely. This kind of treatment shows a lack of respect for applicants’ time and energy, especially when candidates are making room in their schedules and investing in preparation. A simple “no longer moving forward” would have sufficed. If this is any indication of how internal communication is handled, I’d be hesitant to consider this company in the future.

There are skilled employees who work hard and genuinely care about delivering strong results. Their effort keeps the company operational.

Recent staffing choices indicate that selection criteria are not consistently aligned with technical requirements. Certain appointments are influenced by internal relationships rather than by demonstrated readiness. This creates uncertainty about how talent decisions are evaluated and reduces confidence in the overall process. Employees recognize that raising concerns is unlikely to shift outcomes, as these choices originate at senior levels where transparency is limited. The environment becomes transactional, with reduced engagement and minimal trust in leadership judgment.
