Pros

Lots of different projects, ability to travel worldwide if you want. Hours are pretty steady and its always winter somewhere

Cons

Can have the rug pulled out at anytime. No real job security. Lots of moving parts that have issues. No climate control for the real workers.

Pros

The aircraft deicing product line is very interesting and challenging. The non-senior people that work there are kind and hardworking.

Cons

Resource planning and production planning do not exist beyond a few days. As a result inventory levels appear to be very large for a company of its size with the correct parts always being expedited. Employees and vendors are treated as a necessary evils instead of partners or team members. Responsibility is given to employees and then trumped by critical micro-management. There is no reward or recognition from senior management for a good job or for putting in extra time. It is just expected continuously. Reviews do not include all the accomplishments and focus only on many perceived negatives. Rumors become fact with no search for the truth to verify them. Employee turnover is large.

I disagree with this negative perception, and would welcome a debate with the writer. Sincerely, Gerry Robey- HR Manager-Global Ground Support
