Pros

In recent years so many things have been better, culture and values are still forming following the trends. Company is not same as it was in 2013. Within Logmein you can work with many ‘rock-star’ developers. Extremely good personal development opportunities. Supported learning in many area: personality, language, profession. Widely introduced agile approach, otherwise teams lack of authority. Management pay attention of employees' affinity and career plan. Relaxed office culture, you usually not forced, no strict dead-lines. Helpful human resource, well-equipped office. Real flexi-time. Amazing kick-off parties in exotic places. It is generally good team-team communication, if you are willing to initiate a talk. Free snacks, fruit twice a week, coffee and tea. Cheap, fresh orange juice.

Cons

Product development process should be faster which does not highly depend on the software developers. Larger steps often face obstacles this leads many unnecessary and time-consuming struggle. Unpredictable long-term decisions are still in hidden, management appears secretive. You may working for achievements for months, but they’ve already chosen totally different path for product before. Not fair play. Not entirely taken over the agile methodologies, many important aspects are missing. Oppressively number of managers and manager levels comparing to number of ‘do’ers. The current global trends in R&D indicate that the flat corporate structure more conducive to the efficiency, agility, development, communication and corporate culture, even so they have been making more and more new executive chairs with new, weird titles. Some unhealthy, sugary perks.

Pros

Remote and unfortunately that is it

Cons

Sales org is in disarray, constant changes to quota, replaced all of inbound with reps in Guatemala, very low and inconsistent lead flow. Maybe 25% of reps will hit quota month over month
