      Pros

      Salaries and benefits are in line with the industry.

      Cons

      Employees are not recognized, branches are not properly staffed. Golden1 expects employees to treat members with empathy, respect and provide exceptional service, which is what a good organization should do. However, employees are not treated in this same manner. A lot of management by fear.

      The company was wonderful to work with. The team I was on was supportive, worked well together, and very inclusive. Great experience!

      Cons

      None. It was a contract position, so the only one I can think of is that I wish I could have stayed longer.

      * Managers support their immediate teams * Remote work is appreciated * Lots of employee perks * Benefits

      Cons

      * Extremely top heavy. Most top leadership is out of touch with the work done. * SEVPs --> EVPs --> VPs --> Directors --> So ridiculously large for such a small Credit Union. * Many meetings are not necessary, they just read out what's on company intranet to teams. * Upper management has favorite teams * Do not provide most teams with the tools they need. * Proudly proclaims to be digital leader but that's just lip service. * Long time employees LOVE to GATE KEEP all knowledge. They know enough to be dangerous.
