Pros

I greatly enjoyed my time working at GoodAI - the work was very interesting, and I met a lot of great people. To start with, the work the company does is fascinating - you get to research general Artificial Intelligence! The long term vision that the CEO and management have gives you the confidence and stability needed to successfully conduct your research. You know that there is a grand plan and a roadmap to get there. For me the best part of the job was the mix between group and personal research - for a few days a month we got to do personal research in an AI topic of our choosing, which would often be very useful for the company's general research goals. Other good points were: • Valued input in meetings and a voice in the direction of research • Possibility of attending conferences • Flexible working times • Very intelligent colleagues and great team spirit • Well-structured milestones The team members came from a variety of different cultures, which can be quite a change if you have only ever worked with people from one country, but it is also a very rewarding experience. And best of all, you get to make friends with people from all around the world.

Cons

If you are moving to Prague from another country it can take a bit of time to become confident in speaking Czech. However, the language in the office is English and it is spoken to a high level.

Pros

It's a quite small team so you get to know everyone and team work feels better. There might be times at which you are given great freedom about the research details. The company has a very strong remote-working culture and it works very well with it.

Cons

It seems that they are doing less and less research over time.
