Pros
You get paid weekly which is nice for your bank account.
Cons
There is no employee support for where you are placed. There is no written employment documents. There is not staff onboarding. You also get no PTO for the first 1500 hours you work, and the organization you are placed with will fight you on being able to use them. In the 2 years I worked for the organization I was only able to use 3 days PTO to recover from surgery. If you are placed with a mismanaged organization like RTI they will not stick up for you, and let organizations terminate your contract immediately and than say there was no term limit. However when you are hired there is are specific time frames, and managers need to send over contract extensions. When you report your managers for harmful actions nothing is done either. As I finished my contract no one knew my last day, and I had zero exit interview interaction.
