It is best place for those who want to live their career in single setup/framework, don't want to learn new things and happy with doing same thing every day and who want to do lots of CSR and team building exercises. jobs are very safe even in the recession time. working for a respectable banking brand
Cons
middle management is not fair in dealing with work force, lacks innovative management approach and not interested in improving the current situation. If any suggestion is given, usually no action is taken. opportunities are not equal to every employee. If you don't ask things, you will never get it whether promotion or onsite. HSBC GLT does not match to the reputation of the banking brand of HSBC
