Pros

I worked for Hatchworks as both a contractor and a full time employee for a little over a year. They treated their people very well. I especially liked the diversity of the team and that the company invested in its employees with paid certification training and exams.

Cons

The cons were more related to clients than to Hatchworks itself which had its employees back. The clients could have unreasonable expectations at times and one once forced me to attend a meeting when I was quite sick at the beginning of the covid outbreak. Though I was remote I was in no condition to be doing anything other than lying in bed

Pros

Good salary for LATAM, nice people, good initiatives and programs.

Cons

Unclear performance review metrics. It appears to be more of a check then an actual carreer guidance

Pros

Strong marketing team that knows how to generate buzz. Opportunity to gain exposure if you’re directly tied to sales or marketing initiatives.

Cons

- Leadership tends to exploit talent for short-term sales gains and quickly discards people afterward. - Lack of effective management and direction for software teams. - Internal divisions, animosity, and finger-pointing instead of accountability. - Toxic culture that discourages collaboration and long-term growth.
