Pros

Casual culture, brand new laptop with admin rights

Cons

A couple a-hole out of control developers liked to play petty games and create a toxic environment, and management allows it or looks the other way. Not female developer friendly, a lot of mansplaining and egos going on. Seems they are looking for females to throw under the bus for their own failures. My first day they informed me they let the previous female developer go from the project because of incompetence.

Pros

my colleagues were technically great at the company

Cons

they required their employees to work 4-8 extra hours per day, and refused to pay overtime. they said they would give the hours back when the workload went down. but we all know when that'll happen

Pros

The culture and the people are the best part of HatchWorks. It is truly a unique experience and place to work. It just feels different than any place I have worked. I have grown more at HatchWorks than any other company I have been a part of. They are going through a lot of growth right now as well which creates great opportunities. Best decision I have ever made, and can't wait to see what the future holds.

Cons

With it being a company going through a scale up and high levels of growth there can be a need to wear multiple hats. But this also creates a lot of great opportunities. For the right individual who is a continuous learner, team player, and looking to grow - there isn't a better place to be.
