Pros
As a technologist, you are given a lot of freedom to develop solutions with a fair amount of autonomy granted. Furthmore, the time off policy is quite liberal, and the company provides 50% matching of 401K contributions.
Cons
Hypermedia Systems is wholly-owned by another (Japanese-owned) company, and the company executives have little say in strategic decisions for the company. As a result, there are many organizational and cultural conflicts within scope of the larger organization. Hypermedia is forced by its parent company to follow the old Japanese hierarchal way of management which hinders its true capabilties.
