Pros

Impressive experience opportunities and good upshot potential. The product and engineering teams are sharp and the polyglot platform draws diverse expertise and lively debates. Teams are either flat or loosely structured and collaboration is extensive. Usability testing and feature validation are getting underway to bolster emerging products. Founder, employees and management are accessible and friendly. There's ping-pong, pool, darts, and foosball--occasionally happy-hours, off-sites and hackathons.

Cons

Key engineering leadership roles and overall technical direction are currently missing. Processes are antiquated, immature or undefined depending on what part of the platform you work in. Practice, process and tool adoption are splintered. The time necessary to apply best practices is too readily compromised away for momentary priorities. icix feels corporate even though employees are expected to (and some do) bring start-up-level urgency and commitment. The location is inconvenient. Vacation and perks are not competitive. The company's values are unclear. The lack of transparency and institutional inertia are less than reassuring.

Pros

Solution is built stop a world class cloud platform. We have a super collaborative and diverse culture... everyone is looking to work together and help one another. Executive team rewards those that go above and beyond and take charge. Its one of the few places where you can work your way up into a true leadership role.

Cons

If you don't like working hard and need a predefined roadmap to know what to do next, you'll feel a little lost. There is plenty of leadership opportunity... you just need to take it. The negative comments are from those that are used to being spoonfed... Being a leader a leader means finding the gaps that need plugging, figuring out how to plug it, be transparant, get consensus, get permission if need be (it will be given if you are right) and go for it. All why doing your day job...
