Pros

WFH Some great people That's it :)

The CEO is actually a nice guy in fairness, actually listens. There is no clear direction, or clear management. My time I had a manager, but someone else was managing me, who had a less senior position than I, and had no relative experience compared to myself. I was let go after 6 weeks as I was a 'maverick', it was my manager who let me go on a Thursday 4pm. No real explanation apart from I didn't fit and did things my own way. I just can't sit and wait for leads to magic themselves up, so I hunted my own. I made a 'qualifying error' where I met with my personal contact to sell a product, he wanted a replica of the webinar, which we did. But because he was high up at a big university I was told that I should have qualified better, and the big guns to be brought in. - I'm reflective of myself as want to give a fair review. In regards to my sacking there was no one from HR in the meeting, and no follow up from HR for 4 weeks. Was told I could keep laptop until I got a new job, they demanded back after 2 weeks. How after 6 weeks, I myself had a week off, my boss 2 weeks, can you make a judgement on a person? I am an absolute expert in my sector, and have many contacts, it is a shame as I'd have sold a lot for them, one personal friend at a university said - if they treat you like this, we will never buy from them - I replied to them that it is a great product, and not to worry about me. And, it is a great product, 100%. Am I bitter, yes, I was without work for 6 month, withdrew all my investments and had a baby on the way. I took a gamble on this role, as I was an area sales director for a huge education training provider, but could see how ics could make a difference. Overall: 10/10 for product 10/10 for salary 1/10: HR, proper routes were not taken and in honest could have and could take to a tribunal. 0/10 for management, shambles, big egos, and inappropriate language 10/10 for the two people in the team and the person who recruited me, the CSM person was lovely and the sales person was great and he checked in with me when he heard the news. I'd also check on LinkedIn and see the average time spent at ICS, for the people who have left, pretty bleak, also check their roles too!

We are sorry that things did not work out with our working relationship and for any difficulty this may have caused you. It is a source of great disappointment all round when any workplace isn't the right fit for an individual, and it certainly would never be our intention for the working relationship to not work. It is disappointing however to see the negative points in this review posted when it has been 18+ months since you left ICS, and with how Glassdoor does this it could be (incorrectly) seen as a contemporaneous account of what working at ICS is like right now. As you said, we've had time to grow as a business and take the steps to improve. In every negative review we always have lessons to learn and room to grow, and since you have left us we have done just that. Examples of how we have done this include: We're really pleased to confirm that since your tenure with us we have: * Redesigning our management team and structure, providing more robustness and support to all our functions * Introducing more stringent HR processes and policies that are overseen by an experienced HR professional, rather than it being a function looked after by our finance team * Rolling out a new Personnel Development Plan and formalised 6-month review structure, that has been adopted across the business * Improving our marketing function and increased the number of inbound leads for our sales team to capitalise on * Overhauling our benefits structures and pay review schemes to make sure that even as a small company we remain competitive * Running regular employee satisfaction and wellbeing surveys- our NPS score across our current team is +47 which is a result most companies would be envious of! Pros

I have been working with ICS.AI for a few months now and whilst it's a bit chaotic at times I know this is because of a lot of change. Change doesn't happen overnight and this means it can be frustrating sometimes but when you look back and see where it's come from to where it sits, you can see improvements. The people make ICS.AI what it is, from the leadership team down. I don't feel like the CEO is this scary person I can't speak to, and that's really refreshing. He's the sort of bloke you could go for a beer with. We are being asked a lot for our feedback at the moment from the HR team and I've never felt like I've been given more value to how I think and how I feel. Everyone is taking really good care of me. The intentions are all good and the growth plans the company has are genuinely exciting. I can forgive a bit of madness here and there for the plans of the future.

Cons

The systems aren't used right and some of our resources could be deployed better. We need to grow a bit more and reflect on how we do things, plan the changes and communicate how they're going to happen. Benefits could also be better, because the salaries are good and so are the holidays but I think we are missing things like medical, pension etc that would be all the better for us.
