Pros

Flexible working hours, great team of people, decent culture.

Cons

There is hyperfocus on growth that drives every single decision, at the detriment of employees. Staff is completely stretched thin — and have been for months — but there’s not really an effort to hire despite the many issues resourcing has caused. This means long hours without any real effort to recognize and promote team members who are working overtime to keep things moving. Review process is lackluster so bonuses or raises are few and far between. Lots of politics and it’s about who you know versus the skills you bring to the table. If revenue targets aren’t hit by the sales team, everyone gets a slap on the wrist and the pressure is on even more... it’s a repeated cycle of work hard to generate revenue in hopes of more team members only to find out it’s not coming any time soon. Very frustrating for many across the board. There’s not really much diversity either nor a consistent effort for it (an actual paid role). FYI for people of color.

Pros

IDX gives you room to actually do your job. The leadership team trusts experienced people to think, challenge ideas, and make decisions instead of micromanaging. Collaboration across teams is real, not just something talked about in meetings. Smart people, solid process, and a genuine push to adapt as marketing and AI continue to evolve. If you care about outcomes and not just optics, this is a good place to work. There’s also a healthy respect for work life balance, especially compared to many agencies. Expectations are clear, communication is direct, and performance is measured on impact rather than hours logged.

Cons

Like most growing organizations, things can move fast and priorities can shift. That can be uncomfortable if you need everything perfectly defined before moving forward. Some processes are still evolving, which is the tradeoff for not being overly rigid.

Pros

The culture here is a standout. People are genuinely collaborative, helpful, and respectful of each other’s time. As a Project Manager in a performance marketing environment, I’ve appreciated how cross-functional teams partner to solve problems quickly and keep work moving. Compensation and benefits are competitive, and there’s a healthy emphasis on work-life balance, which makes it easier to do great work without burning out.

Cons

There is a documented 30-day ramp for new hires, which is helpful, but the learning curve can still be steep depending on the role/team. You need to be a strong self-starter to consistently hit that timeline, and some processes are learned through experience rather than through fully standardized, role-specific training.
