Pros

You’ll learn absolutely every aspect of IT infrastructure through hands on work. From pulling cable, copper, to patching in the fiber for the data halls and core rooms. Fair amount of auditing work as well.

Cons

You will be teaching this to yourself or you will be expected to see it done once and be able to replicate. The learning curve is pretty steep and good luck finding someone that’s willing to answer your questions. The Leads are great they always are it’s upper management that promises unrealistic deadlines and makes the workers suffer for it

Pros

*Good exposure to telecom world *Above average training

Cons

*Too many required hours per week (average of 70-80) *Leadership (doesn't know what they are doing, openly lies to B2B clients) *Low wages (about half of industry standard where we live) *Required overtime *Violates employment agreements (refuses to pay for call and then requires you to do it anyway)
