Pros

IMP has a lot of benefits incl maternity, home office budgets, socials.

Cons

Never in my life have I been so micromanaged. I was required to provide evidence of every task I completed, and the majority of tasks I was given were due the following day. I was constantly told that I had to prove myself (even though I had only been there a few weeks). We had to log every task into our calendars so it could be seen what we were working on—our schedules couldn't be left blank. Most days, I had around three to four hours of meetings, leaving very little time to actually do my work. I found that a lot of people were working until 8–9 p.m to make up for the fact that the day was spent mostly in pointless meetings. Tasks were poorly explained, and the demands were unreasonable. Avoid.

Thank you for your review and we are so sorry that your experience at IMP was totally out of character for our ways of working. We have addressed this and have since parted ways with the manager in question. In addition, we ensure that all managers have the same training irrelevant of their length of experience to empower our teams and avoid any need for micromanagement. With kind regards IMP

Pros

Great Culture and People - everyone has a voice, you feel heard and valued by the company. The employees are great, real community feel. Work hard and play harder at company get togethers. Best company socials ive ever been too. Remote and Flexible Working Good employee benefits provided Leadership- knowledgeable, approachable, supportive.

Cons

Remote isolation: Working fully remotely can sometimes feel a bit isolating, but the regular team meetups help a lot. Just wish I lived nearer my team so we could have more co-working days! Fast pace: The company is growing quickly, which means things move fast — can be hard to keep up sometimes, but it's exciting.

Pros

I genuinely love working here, and it is very rare that you find somewhere that you are treated with such autonomy, especially within a remote business. If you are willing to put in the graft, you will find a real joy in your role at IMP. Leadership are always open to new ideas and if things can be done in a more efficient way we are encouraged to speak up to put forward change.

Cons

Remote business isn't for everyone and can get a little lonely at times. No bonus structure currently
