      Pros

      Great people who care about education. Pretty flexible schedule.

      Cons

      Poor leadership with secretive decision-making process makes every work day chaotic and stressful. No prioritization of projects — everything is piled on top even though we don’t have enough people to keep up with the work. CEO approval rating can't be accurate given how things are run. I have heard that there is an ISTE board of directors -- do they know what's going on under the hood???

      Everyone I've met is smart, driven, and kind.

      Cons

      Not much! Pay is competitive for an educational nonprofit, but of course it probably won't match the private sector.

      There are some super talented people that are passionate about the work they do.

      Cons

      No clear plan for the organization's future. A new CEO is needed ASAP! Middle management needs development and training.
