Pros

I been doing telemarketing for many years. The best part of this job is the leads that come in are top rated. The system here is designed to allow the telemarketers a chance to get good leads in abundance, which equals very decent commission checks. Over the past 15 years I have worked at more telemarketing places then i can count, the data has ranged from decent to horrible. Here at insideup the management understands the value of what the telemarketers do and have innovated ways to make the calls very warm this in the end makes for very interested people we send to the vendors. Makes the day go by without all the stress that's at a normal telemarketing job. They have flexible hours, which is a big plus for me as I usually have a few jobs and need a flexible scheduled.

Cons

Holidays are not paid. Its a small company so are resources are limited and when we are low on leads the management gets on you to produce, but this is normal at any telemarketing job.

Pros

This company is on the leading edge of B2B marketing technology and the management team has bent over backwards to keep overhead down while working to refine a next generation technology platform. I was provided the opportunity to take on innovative projects that contributed significantly to my knowledge of B2B marketing software and services. The culture is informal but still results oriented and is a bright spot of small company innovation in the otherwise biotech driven business climate of San Diego.

Cons

Low overhead means you need to cover a lot of the operational details yourself. Management is particularly choosy about what projects to invest in. Because this company is so focused on what works in B2B marketing, it doesn't have time to do a lot of outreach to make a bigger impression with clients, partners and the market in general.
