My manager was extremely condescending. It became clear that she was overwhelmed with training new employees. My worst experience was when she lost her cool while trying to blame me for something that wasn't my fault. She was actually screaming at me in a small office where everyone else could hear. When a co-worker came to my defense and explained it was her fault instead of mine, I didn't even get an apology from my manager. So unprofessional. Then the work flow slowed way down. Since I was helping them on an "as needed" basis, I would have appreciated getting an email or something explaining that I wouldn't be needed for a few days. Instead, I ended up having to contact the company myself asking what was going on. Only then did I get an email from my manager saying the work flow was slow, which can happen at a market research firm. Regardless, my treatment during my time there was appalling and I won't be recommending this company to anyone.
