Pros

Pizza and doughnuts Tea round

Cons

Initially, this company comes across as forward thinking, client and staff focused, a market leader... However a month or so in, you quickly realise everything told in the interview, ‘monthly round ups’ and anything that comes from the top, is merely a pipeline dream that has not and, without severe change, will not come to fruition. The KPIs are almost unachievable, unless the market is absolutely booming (which it is not and rarely is). The management watch your every move, even dictating who you can and cannot talk to within the office. 1-1s leave you feeling demotivated and undervalued, especially as performance plans and job security are used as a tool to keep you on your toes. Then came around tough times with coronavirus. The company decided to make the majority of staff redundant (over Microsoft teams) rather than use the governments furloughing scheme. The staff that have remained in a job have been provided with no updates or answers when their teams mates seemed to just not be working anymore. Not only this, but for a company that is invested in their staff, I have never once heard a thing from the HR team. I wouldn’t even know who to contact with any form of issue. In a nutshell, don’t let this company fool you. The only staff focus they have, is reserved for the execs. The only client focus they have, comes with £ signs and the only forward thinking they have is to hold 5minute, soulless podcasts.
