Pros
II had an incredibly collaborative environment, one in which people shared ideas, helped each other work towards targets and supported each other in all senses of the word. All in all it was extremely different to the stereotypical image people have of recruitment agencies. Clients were interesting and varied, predominantly start-up's and SMEs from a whole variety of sectors and management trained and coached you to work successfully and build relationships with all of them. Other pro's were monthly socials, Friday drinks and a beautiful office!
Cons
Because you are working a lot with entry level graduate roles for small companies, commission can sometimes be lower than perhaps other recruitment agencies have. Also, it occasionally felt that managers and the directors didn't push for positive change due to the fear of upsetting or disrupting the current system and/or members of staff that had been there for longer amounts of time, who perhaps weren't ready for those new developments.
