Pros
People on the ground supporting eachother through awful leadership.
Cons
Before Intact took over, RSA was a beautiful place to work. People were proud to work for them. It was inclusive, trusting, flexible, caring. Intact have stormed in like something out of 1991 and ripped the heart out of the company. The employees are left reeling and do not feel listened to or cared for. There's a great deal of weight on Canada being able to come over and storm over ideas without having a grasp on the UK business, and no opportunities for the reverse. It's a militant approach from the new Canadian exec and the UK exec seems to just ask "how high?" People are suffering, overworked, underpaid and scared because it feels like there is a constant cycle of redundancies for the sake of trying to show "change". The harsh approach to working in the office is unfair and stressful when they don't have the desk space for people to be in the number of days they are meant to. It's laughable. People are perching on toadstools so they don't get threatened with disciplinaries for not being in the office.
