Pros
Excellent pay, generous vacation (starts at 3 weeks and maxes out at 5 weeks depending on position and time with company), good 401k plan with many investment options and low fees (managed by Vanguard), good company values, good people to work with.
Cons
Very hard push to ship products on time, so many quality issues are 100% inspected without addressing the root cause. Integer is a contract manufacturer, so it is difficult to make quality improvements with a large impact since they require approval from customers. The site uses outdated software (released circa 2000) that is temperamental and can be difficult to navigate. The Quality Management System is complex and information can be difficult to find at times. Since the company was not originally a medical device company, many of the quality system elements have been added through the years without much forethought resulting in a number of documents and procedures that could rival the IRS. The 401k match is below average with the company matching 50% up to 6% of your contribution (up to 3% contribution from the company). Other benefits (medical, dental, vision, etc.) are average.
