This place has to be the most toxic place in existence. If you enjoy, fake menti's, fake smiles, and incompetent managers then this is your place. Let's sit around sing kum-ba-ya, prance around in costumes while the place is over budget, barely hanging on, and behind schedule. Everything about this place is fake. From people pretending to care about you, to the horrible fake promotional videos sent out on the weekly. All these shell people (especially managers) are constantly going on about shell, and how shell did things. HPC is constantly driven around shell, and most things built at HPC are driven around their shell mentality. It is like no other plant exists. I guess it's hard for them to ditch their shell mentality when most of them have only ever worked for shell. "this is the shell way" - mandalorian. The place has a ton of potential, but until that whole entire management team from shell (built solely on nepotism, not that of knowledge or experience) are terminated, or the facility as a whole is sold to a different entity, this place is doomed. And one last thing. This is a common phrase at HPC (which is scary) "this is what we have, and we have to deal with it." how many have heard this before? It's one of the worst statements you can hear at a facility. The forced upon LOTO system at HPC is a joke, and HPC is lucky someone hasn't been seriously injured. There have been a ton of incidents around the horrible LOTO system and it isn't getting any better. But hey "this is what we have and you have to use it." Would you say this statement to someone's loved one, if their partner never returned home from work? "
