Pros
Benefits were good. I hear they sometimes pay people well. It isn't as bad as it used to be. The updated in-house shops have actually made a great deal of difference in sample-making and printing. Allowing WFH was the best decision Jakks ever made. People come onboard to get initial salary and then quickly split to work at another company.
Cons
Beware brown-nosers, hypocrites and gossiping cliques looking to get in quick with bad bosses. Random layoffs to keep employees in check. Toy fair showroom is a JOKE, about 10% actual toys, 10% sales meetings and the rest is backbreaking elaborate backdrop used to entertain owner's friends. You'll rot with stagnated pay if you rely on management to recognize your hardwork. There would be crazy turnover if they didn't beat people to it by laying them off before they got fed-up.
