Pros

Fully remote and very flexible. They encourage you to work in a way that suits and benefits you. HR seem genuine (for once!). The work is easy enough once you get used to the industry. Senior management are likeable and personable. Autonomy is achievable. Good benefits including a money for a home office set up. Decent range of content creation work. Opportunities to learn more skills through paid-for courses. Encouraged to follow your interests. Good emphasis on diversity, inclusion and sustainability.

Cons

Very little structured onboarding can mean it is difficult to find your feet, learn about the industry and meet different teams from around the business. Tiered management structure can mean there are hoops to jump through especially at middle-management level. Too much emphasis is given to completing tasks which only aid middle management, but also little direction is provided so you're left to figure it out/keep repeating unnecessary tasks until they are satisfied. You sacrifice feedback and development for autonomy. If you seek too much feedback you will come across unnecessary roadblocks. Recognition often goes to the wrong people/ not all the right people.

We are glad to hear you find the role rewarding and enjoy the flexibility, benefits, and support available to you. Travel is a core part of this particular position, and while it can be demanding at times, we’re glad to see you find it worthwhile. Managers are expected to hold regular 1:1s with their teams, and we encourage employees to use these meetings to share feedback, ask questions, and stay connected. We encourage you to speak with your manager or HRBP if these are not already set up as a regular occurrence on your calendar. Thank you, J.D. Power

Pros

JDPower employs smart, hard working people. Most of the associates want to drive revenue and make the company successful.

Cons

JDPower is not fair to its employees, and they really don't care if you've worked hard, produced, and generated strong revenue for them. Their record of treatment and promotions for women is abysmal. Specifically in FSAAS, the leadership does not advocate or care about women leaders.
