Pros

When I first came to JFrog, I thought this was a dream come true. The director of sales team presented the company like this was the place to be. But I forgot the common phrase, don't judge the book by its cover...

Cons

Well, like I said this company is not really as diverse considering their location in the Silicon Valley. I can understand if you are in your home country but it feels like you live in Israel if you work at JFrog's Bay Area office. They hire people with no work experience or 0 experience, and tend to say bye to good candidates who are the right fit for the position. Their sales strategy is to make more money then think better of the customers standpoint. They teach you terms like co-term and reverse co-term and always push their employees to present a offer to their clients in which the company will make more money. So basically they fool their clients into buying a more expensive package whereas they do have a cheaper option available but jfrog won't tell you there is one no matter what. If you do sell a cheaper package where the company didn't profit, the management will start to pick and hate on you. The senior management hates people who work under them and they play their politics into making sure you will not stand a chance in the company and they make it a nightmare for the employee to come to work everyday. The CEO is very cocky and thinks he is better then you. If the CEO doesn't like you, you will probably not end up their for very long. Everyone tries to please the CEO and CEO only hires people who he thinks will abide by his word and do as he pleases. CEO has a big say on who gets hire and not even in positions he is not directly managing. I know a positive review after this review is on its way to even out the score.

Pros

Relatively stabile company in terms of no layoffs, good product fit, generally great team members across the organization

Cons

Too many chefs in the kitchen on majority of the projects, too much involvement from c-suite on minor details, too many people in senior positions make very last minute demands and do not supply the support to make them happen in a timely fashion, last but not least c-suite is pretty much never satisfied. C-suite will frequently lash out on one person on a call with many stakeholders for a small mistake or a mistake that isn't their fault (even if it was a big mistake I don't condone this type of behavior). I don't know if I ever heard any positive feedback at all from C-suite to anyone that wasn't already quite senior.
