Pros

Like most new employees, a new step is always exciting. On the outside, JFrog has all the tools to be a great company. Great people, perks, potential growth, collaborative work, start up life/grind, shirts. But like anything else in life, you sometimes realize too late that the core of this company is rotten.

Cons

Picture this: You just finished watching the first Mortal Kombat. It wasn't amazing, it wasn't horrible. They announce the sequel, you want to see it but are not sure if it will be better or worse. The day finally comes and you say to yourself how bad can it be. You are sitting in the movie theater and realize it might just be the worst sequel you have seen since The Hangover 2. Those feelings will encapsulate your time at JFrog. I can now see clearly that no matter how hard you push yourself as they tell you to do. It will never be enough, and if it is, you will still not achieve the goal you seek inside JFrog. It would be easy to assume that this is a one person issue (me) but in my time there, I can see this is a systematic well thought out system. Grab young, motivated people at the lower level, work them until they burn out, and replace them when they complain. At this point, it is a fine tuned system running on all cylinders. If this glamorous job still sounds enticing here are some trivial cons that add to the mess. The hill across that street is a dump/landfill, if the sun and air are working in harmony (80% of the time it is) you will get a nice whiff of it on a daily basis. You are completely isolated from any good restaurants or anything, they will nickel and dime you for everything. One bathroom for each sex for 60+ employees (could be less now, ask them how many people have left in the past 3 months). Welcome to the Shadow Realm, enjoy your stay. #FATALITY!

Pros

Having spent a long career in tech, JFrog is easily a top-tier employer. The leadership genuinely cares, the product is an industry standard, and the work-life balance is excellent.

Cons

Because the company is growing so quickly, things change fast. It can be a challenge to keep up with the rapid pace of evolution, but it's an exciting environment if you enjoy staying on your toes.

Pros

Great People - You can rely on your coworkers Great Culture - Everyone has a go getter attitude, very willing to help. Fun and frequent work events Great Compensation - Market rates + RSUs Lots of room to grow - Company is growing, offers and supports moving up and even transitions roles Work life balance - Work life balance is good Training - lots of time to ramp up. Very surprised and impressed by how much time they give you to get ready to work on your own. Challenging - This might be a negative for some people, but the work is challenging, a lot is expected of you.

Cons

Not too many cons from my perspective. Probably the best corporate job I've ever had. Training - While I mentioned this as a pro. I felt the training was long and difficult to retain. Most of the learning comes from doing your job Challenging work, but if you can hang with it. It is very rewarding
